Flour & Olive was founded in 2022 by Estelle Sohne, a former attorney and stay-at-home mother with a love of baking. American and Ghanaian with a French husband and multi-cultural children, she celebrates diversity and our common humanity through her line of international olive oil cake mixes.

The company produces four premium, healthier cake mixes – Almond (with almond flour), Chocolate, Ginger and Vanilla – made from unbleached and whole wheat flour and designed to be baked with a simple method and extra virgin olive oil.
Flour & Olive’s logo, which is composed of interconnected olive tree flowers and olives, was inspired by the Ghanaian Akwaaba symbol of hospitality meaning "welcome." In that spirit, the company sets its customers on a joyful cake journey that transports their senses all over the world through its interactive online cake map featuring over 70 recipes from more than 45 countries. The cake mixes and recipes produce delicious cakes crafted to evoke natural beauty and the tastes and smells of the countries they are from inspiring feelings of home, nostalgia and wanderlust.
